If yes or no, how much are they the same or different in gameplay and length?Are Dragon Age and Dragon Age 2 similar to Elder Scrolls IV and V?
They really aren't all that similar. Elders Scrolls is far more expansive. Dragon Age is also pretty linear (especially II). Elder Scrolls also offers far more in terms of customization of how characters abilities can be used. Elder Scrolls game are also a lot longer if you get everything out of them. Dragon Age also has a KotOR style combat system, while Elder Scrolls is real-time. That being said, I actually enjoy the Dragon Age series. It just doesn't compare to Elder Scrolls.
