The only choices you make in DA2 that have any impact at all on the ending are siding with either the mages or templars and who you romanced. Even then the game still ends the same way, after a few years you disappear. It's possible that more of your choices will have consequences, but we won't know until they either release an expansion or DA3.How could I play dragon age 2 again to get a completely different story/ending?

There are only 2 endings in the game. To get them you either side with the mages (good ending) or side with the templars (bad ending).
